I love teaching and working with childre. I am able and want to help your child in any way that I can. I enjoy bringing a smile to the childrens face and knowing that I am making a difference and helping each child that I can. I am very patient and understanding.
I have earned my bachelors degree in May 2009. I am currently a preschool teacher in sylvania. I have worked with children by babysitting, assistant teacher and now a teacher for nearly 5- 6 years. I love children and being able to help them is what I love to do.

As a foster parent, I tutored our first child as he progressed through kindergarten and the first grade. His previous school experience was lacking at best, and he had little confidence in his scholastic ability. I was able to pinpoint his natural aptitude--mathematics--and use it to help not only boost his self-esteem regarding academics, but also to tailor my approach to his other subjects as well. Since math is very much tied to logic, using logical constructs to aid him in his critical thinking proved fruitful in showing him how to solve problems regarding tasks such as alphabetization, grammar, and spelling, among others.

As a graduate of Bowling Green State University's Master of Education program, I have always had a passion for working with students in both a school and counseling setting. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology, which enabled me gain employment as a Crisis Hotline Phone Attendant and a Behavioral Specialist in a Children's Home for troubled and at risk youth. In addition to completing the Masters program, I also earned my school counseling license.
