I graduated from Wayland Baptist University. I earned a BS degree in Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry. While studying I was highly involved in student organizations that valued pre-college studies to students at various ages. We traveled to different schools from Texas to New Mexico showing students the wonders of science through mathematics, biology, and chemical demonstrations. These demonstrations allowed students to engage the student by visualizations and hands-on activities. I was also engaged in free tutoring to my peers. I have mostly tutored biology and chemistry. My proudest moment as a tutor was when a student came to me in mid-semester with a “F” on biology. After a couple sessions the student but her “F” to a “B.” I have always had an interest in teaching ever since I started college. I allow children to be engaged in their studies by providing access to knowledge
