I have recently graduated from Roger Williams University in Bristol, Rhode Island. While attending university, I studied various courses- natural science, social science, criminal justice, biology- but my true passion lies in foreign language. French and Portuguese were my primary languages studied. I am pleased to say that I was lucky enough to have studied abroad for a semester in Paris, France. A Little Bit About Me...

In May 2008, I received my BA in Elementary Education and Sociology. Upon graduating, I took a summer job working as an Aid for a Collaborative Program. In December 2008, I was hired as a Severe and Profound Special Education Teacher for the collaborative. I worked with students with a wide range of diagnoses including Autism and Intellectual Impairments. I learned to adapt my lessons to students with a wide range of abilities. I often created individualized lessons and worksheets that catered to the needs of each student. I am currently working on my Master’s Degree in Severe and Profound Special Education.
