Science and technology do not have to be difficult or abstract. I know how to make Chemistry interesting and relevant to everyday life. If students need help with the math that is required for Chemistry, I know how to bring them up to speed. When students are willing to keep trying to learn, I will keep trying to help them. I have enjoyed teaching Chemistry, Computer Programming and Freshman General Science for the past 20 years in Missouri and Kansas. I like to use current events and computerized resources to help students learn. I love science, but more importantly I know how to help students understand concepts rather than memorize. Together we can learn skills to prepare for further study in math and science. By helping each student construct his or her own knowledge, science becomes more relevant and important.
