Also, I like to use the guide books for each grade that are sold in stationary areas of most stores. For tutoring in reading I've found the Leapfrog Reading Program is very helpful. Many times during the school week, I came home with red markings on my face or hands. I take a softer approach. If you get a child excited, he/she will learn best!
