World History is one of my top subjects! History Minor at Salisbury University. Loved History through out all of my years of schooling. Big History Buff.

I believe we can only help those who wish to help themselves. My teaching style is pretty straight forward - to make the child/teenager want to learn. Make the subject matter interesting to them and approach it from their perspective. If you motivate them to make the effort the rest will happen naturally.
I graduated from Washington High in 2006 with my High School Diploma. From there I went to Worwic Community College part time while working full time to pursue an Associates of the Arts in General Studies. This degree was completed in 2010. A Little Bit About Me...

As stated above I enjoy working with children of all ages, I have made a difference in their lives as well as them making a difference in my life. I love the many challenges that teaching brings, and believe its a very good experience to discover. I like to use my learning structure to assist in tutoring and making a difference in children to better their education and future.
As a graduate I have done tutoring to enhance my credibility to teach possibly in the future with my major in criminal justice. I'm currently enrolled for my Masters in criminal justice and criminology, and I plan to futher my education to teach within that field. Public school is not always rigorous enough for gifted students. When instruction fails to keep students engaged, they learn poor study habits. Ideally, students master study techniques before entering college either through school instruction or tutoring. I have writing, public speaking and other communications courses at the university level.
