I have a bachelors degree in business administration and an associates degree in health administration. I have had experience teaching preschoolers and help my own children at home. They are currently in 2nd, 4th, and 6th grades. I enjoy learning and had a 3.6 GPA when I finished my bachelors degree. I do very well in writing research papers. My schooling was online so I have a great deal of experience writing papers.
Everyone has different learning styles and a teacher/tutor needs to figure out what learning style the student has in order to help them reach their highest potential. It is important to understand that some learn by hearing while others learn by seeing and doing. I love to help people learn and grow. I am patient and easy going but will help the students understand the concept as well as have fun.

While practicing law, I taught several community education courses on legal subjects for Idaho Legal Aid. I also was a certified CPR instructor, but that certification has expired. I attended and completed the "Train the Trainors" course from the National District Attorney's Association and was chosen as one of four from 400 students to be a trainor at the next session. As a PSR, I worked one on one with students in the school setting and on an individual setting working on behavioral issues that prohibited learning in a regular setting. I also taught one on one, in an individual setting with these students. I worked with children from Kindergarten through High School.

As a recent graduate form BYU-Idaho, I have gained a greater appreciation for how important it is to learn the basics of math and science in order to succeed. I have earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis in automation and robotics. The classes required to earn this degree have required an advanced understanding of linear Algebra, geometry, calculus, physics, and technical writing. I believe that when the basic concepts of math and science are mastered, the complex concepts become simple. These subjects also need to be taught using real life examples so that students can see the importance of learning them. I attented Twin Falls Christian Academy throughout my highschool career. During the second semester of my junior year i recieved a credit for helping teach in the daycare facility. I also helped a first grade boy with his spelling and reading assignments due to his lack of understanding the English language. Throughout the rest of the year, I helped a couple more young kids in the same area. I did the same kind of stuff throughout my entire senior year and recieved a credit for teaching the preschool.
