English ESOL is one of my top subjects! I learned English as a second language (my first language is Russian) and I know how to help and teach students learning ESL because I went through this process myself. It involves much more than learning just grammar and pronunciation...one should learn new cultural norms of communication which could be very different from your native culture. I hold a Masters in English with concentration in TESOL. I teach college level writing and reading classes in Florida.

I am a native speaker of Russian. I was born and grew up in the former Soviet Union and I moved to the US in 2008. I have a bachelors degree in German and a masters degree in English with concentration in TESOL (Teaching English To Speakers of Other Langauages) from IUPUI (Indianapolis, Indiana). A Little Bit About Me...

I have always been a tutor of almost every class I took in high school, college, and even graduate school. I was always acting as a teacher figure to my friends, and my peers. I usually tutor Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. After I earned my BS in Chemistry, I totored K-12, and taught ESL to foreign students at South Florida Community College. To make my teaching more effective, I usually psyche my student to see how the mood to learn is. Should the mood be down at first, I would just come up with something fun, educative, something that can help to boost someone's IQ score. I have also used the NCLB Method, No Child Left Behind Method. In it, we use examples for every question, and evaluate the students every week to enhance greater learning.
