I enjoy teaching and helping others discover their interests. I believe everyone has the capacity to learn with the proper environment and assistance. Whenever possible, I make learning fun, to encourage continued interest and to reach the student’s full potential. I have a BS in psychology with a minor in biology and a MS in counseling psychology. I have worked in schools as a paraeducator and as a substitute teacher, with one year as a 7th grade biology teacher in a parochial school in Texas. I returned to college in my mid-40s to complete a Bachelor's degree, majoring in Biology, minoring in Chemistry and Pre-professional Studies.
