I love teaching and working with all ages. I believe that every student can achieve their full potential if given the needed encouragement, skills, and time. I teach with patience, gentle prodding and creativity. I try to understand a students learning style, as well as difficulties, and then find the best methods to help them achieve their academic goals.
I graduated with a 3.9 from Whitworth College in 1979. I taught a 1st/2nd grade class for three years. My teaching certificate is not current. I have earned a bachelor of science degree in General Science, which means I have a very good understanding of many topics including: Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Physics, Computers, and Arts. I have experience in being a leader of 10-16 people in the military as an officer. I enjoyed teaching people of their oppurtunities in furthering their education. During late nights I tutored friends in Calculus and Biology.
