My comments on tutoring Language Arts : I am very familiar with the curriculum across grade levels.

I have a Masters of Arts in Special Education, K-12, and have just completed classes leading towards my reading endorsement. I am currently a qualified Orton-Gillingham tutor. I have been tutoring and teaching children since high school in my Teacher's Academy class at Lakota East High School. I then went on to study Education at the University of Dayton and graduated in May of 2013 with a degree and teaching lisence. In the fall I will be employed with Dayton Public Schools. I have had experience with both elementary school children and middle school children both in and outside of the classroom. I did my student teaching in a 7th grade Social Studies classroom. I have also volunteered in South Dakota on a Native American Reservation as a week long tutor for Native American children.
