I have been a professional educator since 1986. I have taught Navajos, Hopis, Apaches, Mexicans, Arabs, and in two Multinational Schools in Saudi Arabia and to princesses in the Diplomatic Quarters of Riyadh. As a student of the life sciences, I have gained a foundation of knowledge which consists of chemistry, physics, and biology. High scoring on graduate school entrance exams earned me a position to tutor others studying for the MCAT and GRE with a test preperation organization. Balancing the hard sciences with sociology, anthropology, and philosophy, I have been able to develop my own critical writing style. A Little Bit About Me...

I feel that in teaching my goal is to effectively reach all children. Individual care and attention are the most effective ways which I feel a child can be persuaded to learn. In 2003 I traveled to India where I began work in a village in the South teaching English and Sociology to 4-11th graders. In high school, I worked as a museum docent for after-school programs - at one point trying to convince 3rd graders that M.C. I have a wealth of experience in many different areas. I have a bachelor degree in Economics. I started to work with special needs children. This was on a volunteer basis and so I don't think I listed it on my resume. I then substituted in the public schools for elementary and secondary schools. After graduate school in the summer of 2003, I taught art at the Pathfinder Ranch in Idyllwild, CA for ten hours a day for three months with a very limited budget.
