Creative Writing is one of my top subjects!

During my four years at Binghamton University, I’ve taken many opportunities as a graphic designer. I’ve had a lot of experience using programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. In my four years I’ve learned the importance of typography and strong typographic layout skills. I’ve helped several campus clubs in designing posters for events, meetings, and advertising for spring fling activities. I’ve also worked with the local chapter of the Sierra Club and designed shirts and brochures for one of their campaigns. In the classroom I learned how to work with Adobe’s Creative Suite. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have taken two creative writing courses in addition to my elementary courses.

I have tutored in both Robeson County and Cumberland County for a total of six years. I tutored students in math, reading and science from grades Kindergarten to sixth grade. We also prepared students in grades three through six for the End of the Year test. We taught test taking strategies as well. In addition, I have tutored students that attend college in American Government and World History. I also, tutored in GA for three years. My very first year of teaching was at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School, and I also taught for two years at Northern Lehigh High School. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : Creative writing is one of my favorite subjects to tutor because it allows the student to implement their own style to their work. I help my students explore their interests when they are completing their creative writing. Each one of the students that I tutor will experience this too.

I have a very Hands-On Teaching Style
I have been working with children for the past seven years. Four of those years have included homeschooling pre-school and pre-kindergarten as well as homework help and tutoring the children that I was babysitting. I love tutoring because it allows me to work one-on-one with my students. Tutoring, also, allows me the opportunity to create the ultimate tutoring experience based off of the students learning style and interest. A Little Bit About Me...

My most recent experience was as apreschool teacher. Despite the fact that the children were all the same age, whatever developmental or cognitive delays a child might have, is not being addressed, therefore making the teaching environment, very stressful. Prior to the preschool classes, I taught as a substitute in the school district where I attended college.
