My comments on tutoring Algebra : I have gone through math classes all the way up to per-calculus, and I know that some math classes are harder than others. I myself struggled with algebra 2 and higher math. I want to help foster an understanding of the basics of algebra and help students get a good foundational understanding that will prepare them for future math classes.
I prefer to teach by doing, as I believe that performing tasks and becoming familiar with the process is more beneficial than wrote memorization or written assignments/quizzes. I like to get to know my student, where they are in their studies, and what they feel they need to work on versus what they already know.
I have plenty of experience working on personal, university, and job related projects. Notable projects I have worked on would include creating a mobile study app for the Genetic Counseling degree at Boise State University, creating a back-end staff directory service/database for the New York Public Library, and plenty of Flutter projects.
