I like to be presented with the material at hand and evaluate what the child/student knows before I dive in. After this initial assessment, I take more of an interactive approach. I constantly offer feedback and guide the student in reaching the correct answers without just giving them away. If the problem calls for drawings or manipulatives, I utilize these resources to the fullest. My area of expertise is the English language and grammar. I took two year's worth of Advanced Placement English classes during high school and made either 4's or 5's on both exams. The score of 5 on my senior level exam allowed me to place out of Freshman English during college and jump right into Sophomore English. I just made an A in that Sophomore class. Friendly understanding and patient. You gotta relate the kid and make them want to learn if they are actually gonna listen and absorb the information. I’m good with kids, high school and below I can break it down easily, I have good study habits, and I like to encourage people to better themselves educationally. My best subjects are in high school is math and chemistry. And I could teach anything middle school and below. I am a digital media student so I am also good with computers.
