During my four years at Colorado State University, I tutored high school and college students in math and spanish. I also taught spanish to elementary school kids. After I graduated, I worked a part time position at Pueblo Community College as a Tutor/Lab Assistant. My most recent tutoring experience was working for Doctrina Tutoring (a San Diego, CA based tutoring company) this past school year. I tutored students from grade K to 12 in the areas of math, language arts, and spanish.

I like to teach individual or group lessons. At college of the Desert, I had a reputation for being an easy going with a lot of patience when tutoring. My teaching philosophy is to listen to the student and to focus in his or hers needs. I use scientific or graphic calculators when needed. My education experience has led me to have a passion to learn. I always had the pleasure to tutor my peers throughout my school years. I love helping and watching people get to the moment where everything is becomes clear. I have graduated with a BS in Business Administration, majoring in Finance. Math has always come natural to me. I was able to take my natural talent and pursue advanced math courses in college while studying Engineering for two years. A Little Bit About Me...

While completing a degree in Survey Engineering I was picked by two professors to teach in their absence and also lead labs. The situations ranged from one-on-one to outdoor labs and from the classroom to small groups. As a manager of engineering departments at four consulting firms opportunities arose to tutor numerous individuals in both classroom and field settings and the topics were applied math involving physics, algebra, calculus and geometry. Since graduating I have tutored students in the areas of physics, calculus, applied math and technical writing. The students ages ranged from early High School students to a 56 year old retired Navy master chief.
