I think it is very important to not only feed information to your student, but also to create a relationship them. This helps the student to feel comfortable so they can ask questions, even those they may feel to be stupid. I have been able to teach non-technical elderly adults computers and teens that had no interest in religion by creating a relaxed atmosphere and attempting to make the subjects interesting, relevant and fun. Have spent most of my career in the accounting/financial arena first as an accountant/auditor, then as a Research Accountant, then as a Controller, and in last 10 years as a Chief Financial Officer.Thus I have experienced the many nuances of this profession and can pass on the the true nature of the profession and the hidden requirements for succeeding at the management level.
