My teaching style varies from student to student. I like to get to know the student in order to maximize their understanding of the subject. Everybody does learn differently, so I am open to change for that said student.
To be honest I do not really have any experience of being a tutor. I am a senior at Reagan High school and for the most part I tutor other classmates and family members. I observe the students to see what their learning style is and adjust how I teach according to that.
For nine years I taught at the elementary level in private schools. I taught some inclusive classes and developed plans for my students to succeed. Identifying a student's learning style and giving them the tools to progress gave them the ability and confidence to do well. Turning your weakness into your strength

I help guide the student along, having them discover much of the information in a trial and error fashion. I tend to use the questions they are struggling with the most, making similar examples, then walking them through these problems and breaking down the problems until the student understands the how the process works.
I have been tutoring for over seven years, starting with my peers in tenth grade. I have tutored a wide range of subjects, from Geometry through Calculus III, from general computer knowledge through utilizing the advanced functions of Microsoft Access. Throughout high school and college I helped numerous classmates develop efficient ways of studying as well as providing assistance to learning and understanding the given material. During high school I mainly tutored my neighbor's young children in elementary subjects. In college I helped fellow classmates in my major and minor. The most challenging tutoring experience I had was when my own brother was diagnosed with schizophrenia and he was taken out of school for months at a time. My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : I am certified teacher at the Master's level with certifications for early childhood, elementary, special education, ESL and reading specialist. I am trained in Orton Gillingham and the Wilson program.

I graduated from Arcadia University with a Bachelor's degree in education from Arcadia University in 2014. I then went on to earn my Master's degree in education a year later from Arcadia University.
