I tutored one of the students in my High School in his Algebra class. During the course of the tutoring, his grades on his test progressively increased. His final grade in his class was a "B." While attending college, I applied to become a Peer Tutor at Capital University. I was offered a position as part of the tutoring staff, and over the course of the two years in which I worked as a Peer Tutor, I helped a lot of Undergraduate students in all of the courses that I felt the most comfortable in, including Business Calculus, Calculus for the Biological Sciences, Geometry, Trigonometry, etc. I had many regular students during the course of the two years in which I worked as a tutor. Unique Tutor

Substitue teacher and esl tutor for the past 4 years. I worked with various classes from Algebra to IEP classes and ESL, from Science to Social studies and everything in between. I taught classes and did not hand out worksheets. My rules in class were, you dont waste a class period. I used litle tricks to make sure they did not waste time and actually learned from me. I was not offered very many educational opportunities in my youth, but in 2016 I chose to try my hand at being an autodidact (a self-taught person). Within 3 years I went from not knowing basic arithmetic to mastering calculus 2, became a volunteer teacher, scored a 32 on the ACT, and got accepted into Ohio State University as a physics and astrophysics double major. I'm now a senior getting ready to graduate with my undergraduate degree.
