My very first year of teaching was at the Lehigh Valley Performing Arts High School, and I also taught for two years at Northern Lehigh High School. My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : Creative writing is one of my favorite subjects to tutor because it allows the student to implement their own style to their work. I help my students explore their interests when they are completing their creative writing. Each one of the students that I tutor will experience this too.

I have a very Hands-On Teaching Style
I have been working with children for the past seven years. Four of those years have included homeschooling pre-school and pre-kindergarten as well as homework help and tutoring the children that I was babysitting. I love tutoring because it allows me to work one-on-one with my students. During my four years at Binghamton University, I’ve taken many opportunities as a graphic designer. I’ve had a lot of experience using programs such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. My teaching style has two main tenets. First, I believe that students should be the focus of instruction. I facilitate learning best when I discover how students process information, for I am able to present information in uniquely meaningful ways. It is very important to let children know that there is no wrong or right way of doing their work, as long as it is done correctly. They also need to know that their methods are their own. Children needs reassurance. When A childs' work is not done to one's full potential, it is not my strategy to make them feel like less of a child. It is however, my strategy to work with that child until he/she understands WHY the work was not done correctly, and then let him/her correct the work themself.
