A Little Bit About Me...

I am a senior at the University of South Carolina Honors College. In May 2013, I will graduate with degree in Biology, a minor in English, and a cognate in Chemistry. My current GPA is 3.928. I was a pre-med student until recently, and I was my high school Valedictorian. I have tutored children in the past from ages 7 to 13, but I am comfortable tutoring all ages. My comments on tutoring Poetry : I have written poetry for about 12 years now. I took several poetry courses in college and still continue to write it, even having graduated. It is ranked at the top of my passions, alongside American Sign Language.

I prefer teaching one on one, but I could teach a small group.
I went to Princeton High School, and took American Sign Language throughout my high school career. My senior year, I also mentored a fellow student who was deaf when she came to my school for a class. I also took courses at UC and recieved a certificate in Deaf Studies. I have also interacted with a few deaf people over the years.
