Olive College for two years and transferred to East Carolina University to obtain a degree in Elementary Education. I received my BS in Elementary Education, as well as a certification in Reading for K-12. I did my student teaching with a third grade class; I was early released(Nov.2008) from my student teaching to take a kindergarten position. I am about to begin the my third school year as a kindergarten teacher. This past year, I completed a 20-30 hour Just Read! North Carolina course.
