For over four years, I have been involved in private tutoring as well as teaching classes available to the public. I have a passion for teaching and enjoy helping others succeed. While completing my Bachelors in Business Administration, I developed a firm understanding and passion for economics, finance, and accounting. A Little Bit About Me...

I graduated in the top 15% of my class from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. I then started my own company as a Spanish instructor. I taught Spanish to medical professionals and at the local preschools in the Boone, NC area. Last school year I taught high school Spanish. I currently work as a Spanish/ESL instructor at a college in the evenings. In addition, I have tutored high school and college students in Spanish.
I am passionate about teaching. I prefer teaching foreign language through a hands-on approach. Everyone is capable of learning, we just have to find their learning style. With foreign language, I use flashcards, simple songs and interesting stories to incorporate the language. My goal is to get the student to retain the language, not just memorize it.
