My comments on tutoring Journalism : I am a former college journalist and have done occasional freelance work since.

I have tutored before, I am currently tutoring kids at my high school everyday in the subject in which they need help in. My goal in tutoring is to not only to have the child succeed in the course but to understand the concept of the course. Experienced Writing and Reading Comprehension Tutor

I served as a writing tutor to my peers while I was in college. I did this for three years and it seemed to help the students a great deal. This position was accompanied by training provided by one of my professors at Montreat College. The training lasted a full semester. I have also been tutoring a 14 year-old boy in reading comprehension for the past year. He has greatly improved since we started last summer in the speed of his reading, interest in what he is reading, and better comprehension as a whole.

I am a College Student studying English and Politics

I was a tutor in high school for many elementary and middle school aged children. I am also experienced with writing papers, so I can help anyone who is writing for a college application or essay. A total learning experience

Since coming to the Charlotte region in 1996, I have had a wide variety of experiences as a language teacher, having taught in public, private, homeschool, summer school and tutoring situations.
