I have a passion for teaching and the everyday rewards. Because I have worked in bilingual, private schools in a foreign country I have successfully learned to handle diversity. I have learned to appreciate the individuallity of each student and his or her needs in processing, learning and how they interpret the world. I use Bloom's Toxonomy and Gardner's Multiple Intelligence to build my lessons in a differentiated form to reach each student on his or her level. I love to work with children of any age. I have been volunteering for over 15 years helping wherever and whenever I can to help make the lives of children more enriched. I have two boys of my own (age 10 and 14) and have been successful in helping them achieve the best they can. I have been teaching kids as a substitute for many years and went back to school in my middle 30's to become a teacher. As a graduate of Pfeiffer University in North Carolina, I have been blessed to work with students of all grade levels. I received my BA in Elementary Education grades K-6. Having a degree in elementary education has really helped me expand my knowledge in all subject areas.
