I will help the student learn visually, verbally, and hands on.
Worked as a tutor in an elementary school for two years and currently tutor children. I have had a lot of babysitting experience as well. I am currently an elementary education major and graduate in 21019. I believe all children have potential to learn. I always try to find the best approach for teaching each child. I believe in positive reinforcement and giving a child a feeling of accomplishment after they have experienced so many feelings of failure. Teaching a child one on one is a much needed teaching method for a lot of children. I try to make learning fun and I love to see the light bulb pop on in their little minds!

A Little Bit About Me...

I did not realize I wanted to become a teacher until after I took a long-term substitute job while looking for employment. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and decided to further my education so that I could continue to teach. My undergraduate degree is in Mass Communications and Public Relations, which has helped me relate to all different students effectively and in different ways. My graduate degree is an Alternative Master's Degree in Secondary Language Arts.
