I taught with the Bangor adult education program in the early 1980's as a graduate student in educational psychology. I taught adults a variety of subjects math, English and GED preparation at that time. I also taught English as a Second language with them. I also hold a masters in education at the University of Maine at Orono that I have not listed in the formal education section. I reserved that section for relevant finance and accounting information. But having said that, I have a broad psychology and education background (I was a clinical counselor for 12 years)that goes along with my knowledge of finance and accounting theory. I love teaching and interacting with all students, although my preference is junior high and high school as I have helped out in these areas before. I love to help students who are struggling and help them achieve success which they had not thought was possible. I believe in determination and hard work and will teach my students these values in addition to commitment and work enjoyment. My goal is not just to help achieve success in students academics but also in all areas of their lives.
