My comments on tutoring Japanese : Studied for 6+ years

As the president of my high school's Japanese club, I made it a priority to stay after school on most days and provide tutoring assistance for other students in the classes, compensated or not. I also held organized study sessions for classmates in Japanese courses in college, and as a result, all participants were able to improve their scores on later tests.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a Business Intelligence Analyst that uses computer science skills in the real world on a daily basis. My main interaction is with ABAP [SAP] and Excel. I have studied Japanese for 7 years and have traveled throughout Japan. I am originally from England so I social studies have always grabbed my interest with an underlying passion for computer science. I enjoy converting the daily activities to metrics and observing changes in groups based on measurable and immeasurable features. I want to teach children about real world applications for what they teach in school and help adults refine their skills to be utilized efficiently in the workplace.
I observe the learning style of my students and teach them accordingly. I know that one style does not fit all so it is about refining that style for each person so they get the most out of each lesson.

After entering the U.S., I enrolled at Central Piedmont Community College, Charlotte, North Carolina to learn English for two semesters.
