I have enjoyed the personal gratification of tutoring since high school. Since I was 15 years old, I have shared my knowledge and love of mathematics with people of all ages. Algebra I is one of my top subjects!

Although not degreed in math, science or computers, they were my favorite subjects. More importantly, I am gifted in communicating concepts into terms my students understand and grasp. Repetition doesn't equate to learning, it's a component, it's a way to practice, but it is not how the mind grasps the concept. I worked as a tutor in the Math Learning Center at Michigan State University for 3 years, and was also a teaching assistant for a precalculus for a semester while attending MSU. I like to use what the student already knows to prompt them forward into discovering how to complete the problem at hand on their own with guidance.
