First I like to try to ask them where they are having trouble or watch them do some problems to see where they are having troubles. Where I find the problem I would show them the correct ways to approach a problem and prove it to them or use other methods to help them understand how the concepts work. I'm a good listener and very patient with students. Also with my computer science background, especially in statistics related applications, I can make demonstrations do demonstrate or even solve problems.

I am an easy going individual who attempts to make learning fun and relate it to real life examples. With physics and calculus, there are many instances when assignments can be very difficult to comprehend because it's difficult to see how a derivative or integral relates to real life situations. I have degrees in civil engineering and have been in the workforce for 17 years. This has given me a great background in math and science. Since 2008 I have taught math courses at Lakeshore Technical College. I teach Math with Business Applications and Algebra for General Chemistry.
