Government is one of my top subjects! Not only have I studied American government, I served as a legislative liaison between the executive branch and the legislative branch. Being in daily contact with members of Congress and departmental decision-makers within the Department of the Interior has given me a unique perspective on American government.

Lived in Latin America. Have studied Spanish in High School and College, Did my field placements in Spanish speaking setting. Speak read and write with near native fluency. i fequently am in contact with native speakers via Skype. I had been a teacher for 12 years engaging in a multitude of learning styles and methodology. I spent 6 years serving as principal at all levels. I was Director of Education for two years and then served as Superintendent of Schools for two districts for a total of 15 years. During that time I never lost connection with teaching, mentoring students from all levels of education and continued to teach in the classroom at least once a week. I was an adjunct professor for two years at Waynesburg University in Pennsylvania. I retired in 2009 to travel and photograph the country, while living in and RV.
