I am a recent graduate, I graduated in 3 years and will be going back to finish my engineering degree. A Little Bit About Me...

Our children today need to be encouraged and given the opportunity to develop. Some students aren't able to get the attention they need in a classroom setting with all of the other students. All they may need is one on one time to help explain the concept in a way they understand. I'm a very "hands on" tutor and like developing fun, creative ways for the students to learn. I am attentive, encouraging, patient, and considerate and will be available to help the children succeed. My goal is to make a positive difference in each students life.
As a graduate of Pfeiffer University's Pre Medical program, I feel that I am qualified to tutor students in the fields of math and science. I have recently begun my pursuit of a Masters in Teaching (MAT). I believe my studies thus far have well prepared me and helped form the teaching strategies I have today. Between my experiences thus far as a tutor and my studies I believe everyone is capable of learning. Not everyone’s learning habits and techniques are the same, which can cause struggles when within a large group. I believe I can meet the personal needs of a student through one on one study and practice. I believe in making the subject relevant to the student and feel that practice is the best way to improve understanding.
