I should employ a variety of questioning techniques to better understand strengths and weaknesses, then prescribe remedies tailored for individual strengths and weaknesses, facilitating the learning process and desired outcome. Most people know intuitively how they learn, as well as which modalities work best for them. Paying attention, listening, probing with questions, observing responses, being patient is the first part of my job. Often times the student knows what works best and can even tell you. A Little Bit About Me...

I taught public school for 4 years before getting a masters degree in Religious Education with a Concentration in Childhood Education. I wanted to complement my undergraduate Elementary Education degree. Therefore, I choose the childhood education concentration at seminary. Then I was a Assoicate Pastor for Children for over 13 years where I supervised paid workers and planned activities for a children's ministry at a local church. I had to maintain a budget for this ministry in the amount of $38,000. Over the course of all of these years, I have learned a vast array of skills.
I love working with children of all ages. I really like elementary age children. I have a hands-on approach to education.
