American History is one of my top subjects! I have taught all aspects of American History.

I have been teaching for several years at the High School and University level. I have extensive experience with community college students and students who require extra prep for college level classes. I currently teach at Tallahassee Community College. I have taught at Florida State as well. In 2006 I taught in London and in Paris for FSU. I have traveled quite a bit and can add those experiences to the classroom.
My style uses a dialectic approach using questions and answers so that students discover the answer on thier own. I also use tecnology to enhance learning.

I have taught both children and adults private piano lessons. I taught history and other subjects for 2 1/2 years as a daily and long-term substitute teacher in secondary schools. For one year I directed a public library story-time program for preschool children. I worked two years as a middle school Library Media instructor.
