Accounting and Finance often blend the theoretical and concrete. I strive to teach theories and concepts through fun activities and games in order to make learning fun and as stress free as possible. To fully grasp the numerical applications of accounting and finance the answer is deceptively simple: practice, practice, practice. While I enjoy working with a younger population, I have had more experience with middle school, high school, and college students. I am very patient and easy-going, but I also expect that my students perform the tasks asked of them in the time given, as to further reach our goals. I have a descriptive way of teaching, but I am also a firm believer in using abstract methods in order to obtain and understanding. As a graduate assistant, I was effective at assisting students in understanding complex material in Speech Communications.
