Elementary Math is one of my top subjects!

I have been tutoring since I was in high school and have continued tutoring elementary students in the areas of math, reading, vocabulary, social studies, and science into my adulthood. My comments on tutoring Elementary Math : The most important subject in your life's teachings is Math, if you are tired of feeling like someone is speaking a different language to you, call me. I can teach you math, in ways you have never heard off, that will all of a sudden make you see math, Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry and a lot of other courses in a whole new light.

In my years of education, I found that some of the methods used for teaching these subjects were inadequately explained, therefore causing students not to truly understand how to apply mathematics and science in school and their every day life. I have learned how to tutor in these subjects from raising my own children, all of whom found these subjects to be hard until I showed them how to avoid the pitfalls of our educations system. All of my kids were A students and are now in college, none of them now have a hard time understanding the subjects and are excelling in their own lives.

3rd Grade Teacher

Enthusiastic learner and tutor!

With respect to tutoring, I worked during the summer of 2009 as a teachers assistant for a summer-school program known as Korea Poly. The students were 3-6th graders and required assistance in completing homework and practicing and refining their English writing and speaking skills. My duties included checking and correcting homework assignments, and being available during the homework hours for questions and help.
