My comments on tutoring Piano : I have played piano for 23 years, and have instructed over 45 students over the course of 9 years, ranging from the ages of 4 to 68 years old.

I am a natural teacher - it's what I do when I'm not getting paid. I just like to share knowledge of what, why, when, where, and how. I like the process of learning, and it is a privilege to get to witness, or even positively influence, that process in someone else. I have been paid for my teaching skills for the past 9 years, in various settings, including piano instruction, guitar instruction, tutoring at the Community College in Chemistry, Biology, and Microbiology, as well as assist teaching for the Decatur Public School District. I enjoy working in the educational environment.

I graduated high school in 2013 with a 3.87 CGPA. I am currently a full-time student at University of Illinois Springfield. I have taken college algebra, trigonometry, statistics, and quantitative reasoning. My final grades were A, A, B+, and A, respectively. I have also taken English 101 and 102 and received an A in both classes. I am very skilled in math and English, and I am also a musician (guitar, piano, and vocals) with knowledge of music theory and history. I am open to different tutoring/teaching styles to accommodate different peoples individual needs and differences in learning style.I am very passionate about teaching/tutoring and enjoy helping others and seeing them understand a concept that before may have been trivial to them.
