My style involves asking key/critical/opened-ended questions to guide the tutee towards ways of improving his or her writing skills, grammar, and arguments/critical thinking content so that (s)he can write at his or her optimal level.
I intensively studied English Literature at the University of California, Berkeley (whose Literature Program is rated 2nd in the U.S., only behind Yale) and graduated with honors, summa cum laude in 2003. I am quite fond of children and their amazing desire and ability to learn. I think that education is one of the most important aspect of a child's upbringing and any contribution that I can make would be very gratifying. I think children differ in their learning styles and I am flexible to work with children who are visual learners through diagrams, colors and charts, or with children who are learn through memorization and application.
