I have taught for Utah State University for five years- Business Calculus and College Algebra as an Undergraduate. During that time I also tutored students from a wide variety of subject levels- kindergarten up to discrete mathematics. I also have a minor in Biology and taught Bioethics as an Undergraduate. I can help with study efforts for AP Biology or entry level Biology courses mostly. My studies during college focused on specifically math where I have completed my bachelor's degree of science with a major in math. As I finished up my studies, started tutoring for lower level math majors. This included Calculus I,II,III, and statistics. As I moved on through classes, I began teaching more abstract classes in Mathematical theory. This experience has helped me able to explain a complex topic in simple terms.
I usually spend the first session finding a child's weaknesses in the subject. After this, I will prepare a list of problems for the child to work on under my supervision. As he works I will let him make his mistakes and then help him correct them. This, in my opinion, is the greatest way to learn math. Practice makes perfect.

I am a recent graduate of SUNY Potsdam. I received my bachelors degree in physics, and minored in mathematics. I also hold two associate degrees, one in Liberal Arts and another in Math & Science.
