I use a variety of teaching styles while instructing students. Alternating between styles helps to keep minds engaged and participation at a maximum. When covering content I use many examples that relate to real life, that way students can relate it to something they have experienced or seen. I also like performing small-scale experiments and labs. I will use power point presentations as well as the overhead for drawings, notes, and discussion. There are many websites that I make use of, the websites that I use are usually hands on and require students to think and solve problems on their own.

In college I tutored at one of the high schools while monitoring study hall three days a week. After graduation I joined the Peace Corp. I served in the Tonga Islands in the South Pacific. I taught farming skills and assisted nurse volunteers with health and medical needs. In the business world I trained people for their responsibilties and mentored many individuals with their careers.I have over 25 years of mentoring and training experience. In 1983 I received my Masters in Marketing and Management, with an interest in international business. I am now at a point in life that I would like to share my accumulated knowledge,experience and skills with younger people, to give them a head start in our fast changing world.
