I teach how math and science can be useful and fun!

I have a BS degree in chemistry and an MS degree in math. I currently teach at the college level for various colleges including dual credit courses in many high schools. I have been a tutor for over 15+ years. I have been a statistician, a chemist in a laboratory setting, worked in the medical field, and done consulting for various companies through out my career. I love math and science, and my passion allows me to make learning and applying math and science interesting and entertaining to even the most difficult audiences.
Relaxed style, I am there to help the student learn in whatever way works best for them. I like to use real world situations to make the content practical and ensure that the student both retains the knowledge and can apply it.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored friends and family for 4 years. I have also tutored others while in school and after school for 3 years. While tutoring, I try to find a way to help the student learn by finding a style that fits their personality; therefore, I do not have a preferred teaching style. I'm only 17 years old but I have tons of tutoring experience since I was 13. All of my friends would come to me to get tutored and to study for test. And teachers would always select me to help kids who were struggling. I would help with any subject but math would be my strong side. I would and still do make straight 100's in math and love tutoring people in math. I've always thought about being a math teacher myself.
