I believe student centeredness is the trunk and the other components are the branches. Each component is connected to the other and they share common characteristics. For me teaching is about making the connection for students between the literature, writing, piece of art or media and their lives. By using the six components I can facilitate the learning process and enable my students to find a thread of meaning in the lessons I present.
