I have been signing collectively for about 14 years. I have been active in the deaf community for the past 3 years. In the past I have interpreted for adult education classes and medical appointments with Deaf, Deaf and Blind, and Hard of Hearing individuals. Sign Language is one of my top subjects! American Sign Language is my primary language. I grew up using American Sign Language as a communication access to people. I have met many hearing people who I want to learn. I am investing my time and energy to all of those who want to learn. I am senior at California State University, Northridge majoring in Deaf Studies. I do volunteer works for deaf and hearing people. My duties is to provide lecture in ASL, to teach Deaf how to be independent, visit Deaf families teach them about Life Skills. To earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University Of Notre Dame, I had to be a Renaissance class-taker. Math, Science, and foreign language were all required for anyone to graduate. My major was Film, Television, and Theater, but many Literature and History classes were also all required. Writing is my strength, as I wrote and directed the school's biggest comedy show and ran the school's comedy newspaper. I taught guitar lessons to my neighbors for about 5 years and I taught CCD for four years. In college, I often helped student-athletes write papers for various classes.
