I know shotcuts in math that really help students to safe time and understand the material. I created my own theory of explaning things that is not writtern in any math book. It is easy to understand for students. The most important thing is to explain math through pictures not formulas. The formulas will be understand automatically after the student understands the picture and concept. I am very patient and ready to explain as long as it takes. I am a senior in high school and am taking advanced math classes. I have taken Algebra, Geometry, and Math Analysis classes and am currently in Calculus. I have two younger siblings - one of which is in high school. I have been regularly tutoring them in math for the past two years and am familiar with a great deal of the high school math content.
My teaching style involves simplification. When helping people with math I often find that many have a tendency to overcomplicate things and therefore become confused. If the content is broken down and explained in simple, easy-to-grasp terms, I find that it is much easier to learn.
