I can make learning fun, No Doubt!

I am a junior at EKU working toward my Bachelor of Science. Education major with concentrations in Math and English. Experienced Tutor with Expertise in Math and Social Science

I have been tutoring students of all ages since I was in high school. I began by tutoring my own peers in math and social studies. I would also tutor children from 1st grade on up in all subjects. Once in college, I tutored college students and younger in many fields, primarily mathematics courses. My specialty quickly became preparation for standardized tests as well as calculus because I have a unique ability to discover how each student learns and tailor the lessons to their needs. As a student at MIT I earned my BS and MS degrees simultaneously in a five-year period. I worked primarily in the oil industry with major geological responsibilities on the Alaska North Slope and the North Sea. I have published over 50 technical articles and papers in my field. After my oil industry work I taught high school physical science in Kentucky for 10 years, including earth and space science, physics, and chemistry.
