I have done private tutoring of high school students in math from pre-algebra to calculus and in other subjects. I like to interact with the student I am tutoring. I want to be near that student so they can I can clearly explain what they need to learn, and make sure they can hear and understand it. I can be strict but I do show empathy and try to put myself in other's situation. I don't judge I believe every child learns in thier own way but with time and patience it can be done. My current degree is in Social Work and I am currently employed as a Substance Abuse counselor with a non-profit agency. I completed my intern in Child Welfare.
