Every child has his/her own learning style. I think it is important to first determine how each child best learns – either visual, auditory, or tactile. I can then tailor my instruction to the needs of each student. In general, I believe that people learn best by ‘doing’. I achived a high level of proficiency in math from a very young age and finish Advanced Calc 3 and a half years ago.
