Teaching in a quiet area is preferred, where there is no distractions so that the student(s) can focus on the task they are trying to accomplish. I am a Sophomore at The University of Central Missouri. I have helped with younger siblings, cousins, and family friends study or work on their homework. Proficiency in reading helps with comprehension. If one is struggling with sounding out words by the time they get to the end of the sentence they may have forgotten what they read. Proficiency in reading is a great tool for comprehension. I have taught Early Childhood Education since 2000 to 2002 at Angel Academy Preschool. Later, I worked with children through the Y.M.C.A of Port Huron, Michigan and Lenawee County, Michigan.
