I also student taught junior high language arts. I received numerous teacher of the week recognition when I taught after school art classes. Since graduation, I have been a substitute for all grade levels and subject matter. I received certification as a line therapist for children with autism, in which I advanced the communication skills. My community college gave me the opportunity to work in between classes at the on-site child care. I also have a daughter that graduated kindergarten at age 5, that I work with on a daily basis to keep her caught up on milestones.
