As early as I can remember I have always wanted to have a degree that involved children. So i decided to go to college to become an Elementary School teacher. I graduated from Black Hawk College where I earned my associates degree. After completion of my associates I then transfered to Western Illinois University. I majored in Elementary Education K-9. During my undergraduate education I was very dedicated in pursuing my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and completed a variety of experiences working with students. Last fall I worked as a student teacher in third grade.
